The development was confirmed on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, who announced that the victims had been successfully rescued by security agencies. Despite repeated public announcements, awareness campaigns, and the Lagos State Government's restriction on vehicular and human movement between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on sanitation days, several road users were found violating the directive.
