Monarchs’ National Council Appoints Alara, Oore as Southwest Coordinators
By Nudoiba Ojen The National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria has appointed Coordinators for Southwest. The coordinators are the Alara of Ilara-Epe, Lagos State, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo; and the Oore of Otun Ekiti and the Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, Ekiti State, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo. The appointment of the two frontline monarchs was announced in Abuja on Monday during a Special Meeting of the Council having in attendance select traditional rulers from the six geo-political zones of Nigeria. The Chairman of the Council, the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar and the Co-Chairman, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunmusi, Ojaja II, congratulated Oba Ogunsanwo and Oba Adeagbo on the appointment.
