Firm mentors Lagos students on advertising career

Lagos By Oluwafunke Ishola A marketing and advertising firm, Dentsu Nigeria, says it will inspire and empower students in Lagos State public secondary schools to explore opportunities in marketing and advertising. Mr Emeka Okeke, the Group Chief Executive Officer of MediaFuse-Dentsu Nigeria, said this in a statement on  Wednesday in Lagos. Okeke said the move was part of Dentsu Global initiative to unite teams around the world as a force for good through its annual event, One Day for Change (ODfC). The demonstration, which took place at Mojoda, saw protesters barricading a major stretch of the expressway with tires and makeshift obstacles, resulting in severe gridlock and bringing traffic to a halt. The tolling policy, implemented on March 24, 2025, followed the completion of the 14.7-kilometre Epe–Mojoda–Ijebu Ode Expressway’s reconstruction into a dual carriageway.
