The historic town of Epe in Lagos State pulsed with life and energy over the weekend as it played host to one of the most electrifying music events of the year. On the night of Saturday, May 31st, through the early hours of Sunday, June 1st, 2025, 10 DOLLAR MUSIC delivered a spectacle that not only celebrated Afrobeat culture but also marked the official unveiling of one of Nigeria’s most promising new stars — Queen Stephire.

Held at the upscale Epe Resort & Spa, the 10 DOLLAR MUSIC Concert attracted a vibrant mix of music lovers, cultural icons, and entertainment enthusiasts from across Lagos and beyond. The event began at 6:00 PM with a high-octane DJ set that immediately set the tone for an unforgettable night. Before long, the venue was transformed into a pulsating hub of music, laughter, and celebration.

The evening featured a seamless blend of performances — from rib-cracking comedy and jaw-dropping acrobatics to electrifying musical acts that kept the crowd grooving until sunrise. But the undisputed highlight of the night was the debut performance by Queen Stephire, whose stunning stage presence, dazzling costume, and powerful vocals sent the audience into a frenzy.

“Tonight was pure magic,” Queen Stephire said after her show-stopping performance. “I’m overwhelmed by the love and support. My album Ajah Traffic is coming soon, and I can’t wait to share more of my story with the world.”

Lagos State Government to Ban Danfo and Korope Buses on October 1.

The special adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on transportation, Sola Giwa, disclosed this in a chat with Vanguard on Saturday, July 14.  He said that the reminder on the planned ban, which is in line with the Lagos State Strategic Transportation Master Plan (STMP), was to dismiss rumours that the move had been suspended.
