Princess Abiodun Islamiat Oyefusi Labour Party Deputy Governorship Candidate of Lagos State promises to fight corruption

Princess Abiodun Islamiat Oyefusi  Lagos State Labour Party (LP) deputy governorship aspirant has vowed to fight corruption, if elected as the governor. She said she would liberate the state and return it to the path of progress come 2023.

The politician lamented that Lagos State has not realised its potentials as a promising state. She complained that its resources have not be deployed to its development.

She said: “Every lagos indigene knows that corruption has destroyed the state. I know that we are not a helpless people and we cannot be slaves in our own land to a mafia-like, bloodthirsty and corrupt cabal.

“We cannot give up on our future and that of our children yet unborn. We cannot just sit down and be gossiping about corruption, banditry and brigandry nightmare of our state without doing anything about freeing ourselves from this enslavement that we are in.” speaking with Okemagba News, she advise the youth to get there permanent voters card if they are ready to rescue Lagos State and Nigeria at large, that your PVC is your power and your right, "We need a better Lagos and Nigeria so to get want you want you need to vote out bad government", she said.

Lagos State Government to Ban Danfo and Korope Buses on October 1.

By Sultan Oluwaseunayofunmi , The Lagos State Government has said there’s no going back on the planned enforcement banning operations of all unregulated commercial bus operations, such as  Danfos and Koropes, along the Lekki-Epe corridor, from October 1, 2024. The special adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on transportation, Sola Giwa, disclosed this in a chat with Vanguard on Saturday, July 14.  He said that the reminder on the planned ban, which is in line with the Lagos State Strategic Transportation Master Plan (STMP), was to dismiss rumours that the move had been suspended.
