The Epe PDP House of Representatives Candidate, Hon Noheem Abiodun Balogun (Imole Dee) begins house to house campaign in his ward (Ward A3 )

In his speech while addressing the residents, Hon Noheem acknowledged the pains the people are going through which is being infringed by the present administration. He opined that the right of the government is to provide basic amenities to its people and not for personal interest. In his words

“ God has being faithful to me I am not contesting for personal gains but to Alleviate poverty if elected.' 

Hon Noheem reeled out his plans to the people and amongst that, is feeding the elderly monthly. He asked that people should go out to mobilize and vote en-mass for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). 

The residents appreciated Hon Noheem for the support he had been getting in the past and pray he gets to the desired position. They assured him of thier maximum support and votes for the good deeds he has always being rendering to the community. 

The campaign was attended by the movers and shakers in the Peoples Democratic Party in Epe, families and friends.

Lagos State Government to Ban Danfo and Korope Buses on October 1.

By Sultan Oluwaseunayofunmi , The Lagos State Government has said there’s no going back on the planned enforcement banning operations of all unregulated commercial bus operations, such as  Danfos and Koropes, along the Lekki-Epe corridor, from October 1, 2024. The special adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on transportation, Sola Giwa, disclosed this in a chat with Vanguard on Saturday, July 14.  He said that the reminder on the planned ban, which is in line with the Lagos State Strategic Transportation Master Plan (STMP), was to dismiss rumours that the move had been suspended. The controversy centers around two toll gates situated on the same road—allegedly managed separately by the Lagos and Ogun State governments. The presence of both tolls, locals argue, amounts to double taxation and places an unnecessary financial burden on daily commuters. Currently, road users report paying between ₦1,000 and ₦2,000 per trip, depending on the size and type of vehicle.
