CNI Nigeria rolls out maiden edition of N500,000 educational scholarship for Epe indigents

Mr Rasaki Musa Gbolahan, the Coordinator of the organisation disclosed during an interview with the Okemagba News correspondent in Epe, on Friday.
He said that the cash grants would be disbursed on the 30th of August, at Lagos State University of Education(LASUED), Epe Campus.
He added that the beneficiaries would be selected from Epe LG, Eredo LCDA, Ikosi-Ejirin LCDA, Ibeju LG and Lekki LCDA area of Epe Division.

He said that the yearly scholarship program would run across all the local government and local council development areas that made up Epe Division, so as to accommodate more beneficiaries.
Mr. Rasaki said that the maiden edition would only accommodate five beneficiaries, which the selection would be on merits.
“In our subsequent editions we can accommodate more beneficiaries depending on available funds, ” he said.
He mentioned some of the organisational achievement as; yearly distributions of food to the vulnerable, annual presentation of awards to outstanding technocrats/community builders.
Others as; facelifting of government properties, job employment for indigenes, youths empowerment, seminars, intervention programs, branding of destination, to mention but a few.
According to him, the core value of the organisation includes; community development advocacy, human capacity building, poverty alleviation and good government.
