OFFICIAL SIGNING OF MOU & CONFERMENT OF HONORARY CHIEFTAINCY TITLE BY THE ALARA OF ILARA KINGDOM, EPE, LAGOS STATE

It was a historical, and a record breaking event at Ìlara-Ẹ́pẹ́ today Friday 14th July, 2023; as HRM. Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr) Olufolarin Olukayode OGUNSANWO (JP), TELADE IV, The Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Eredo LCDA, Epe Division, Lagos State* officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Bilateral Relationship between Ilara Kingdom, Epe, Lagos State and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, The Caribbean.
The official signing of the MOU was done following the Conferment of the Honorary Chieftaincy Title of The Aare Atunluto of Ilara Kingdom on the High-Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to Nigeria "His Excellency, Engr. Wendell De Landro" by the Alara of Ilara Kingdom.
The event which took place at the Royal Palace of the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Ìlara-Ẹ́pẹ́ was witnessed by highly respected Yoruba Monarchs, Former First-Lady of Lagos State "Lady Doja OTEDOLA" the mother of a renowned Nigerian Billionaire "FEMI OTEDOLA", and other dignitaries.
It was an event of epoch-making significance in the Business history of Ilara Kingdom, Epe Division, Lagos State, Nigeria and The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago; as it was an effort towards Community and National Development of the 2 Countries.
The event is aimed at sealing the Partnership and the proposed progressive plan between Ilara Kingdom, Epe Division, Lagos State, Nigeria & the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It was also noted that the two countries "Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago" have a lot of things in common.
The High-Commissioner who was conferred with the honorary chieftaincy title of the Aare Atunluto of Ilara Kingdom during his speech summarized the duties of his Chieftaincy position, and appreciated His Royal Majesty "the Alara of Ilara Kingdom", and the entire people of the Kingdom for the great honour

Lagos State Government to Ban Danfo and Korope Buses on October 1.

By Sultan Oluwaseunayofunmi , The Lagos State Government has said there’s no going back on the planned enforcement banning operations of all unregulated commercial bus operations, such as  Danfos and Koropes, along the Lekki-Epe corridor, from October 1, 2024. The special adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on transportation, Sola Giwa, disclosed this in a chat with Vanguard on Saturday, July 14.  He said that the reminder on the planned ban, which is in line with the Lagos State Strategic Transportation Master Plan (STMP), was to dismiss rumours that the move had been suspended. The controversy centers around two toll gates situated on the same road—allegedly managed separately by the Lagos and Ogun State governments.
