Youth Leader Raises Alarm Over Land Grabbing Crisis in Epe Division

The situation has escalated significantly in 2024, leaving many residents living in fear. Adebanjo described the activities of land grabbers as both alarming and disheartening, noting the severe repercussions on the lives and properties of local inhabitants. “Last year alone, more than 15 farmers and landowners lost their lives in conflicts instigated by these invaders,” he lamented. Communities such as Ilamija, Ibonwon, Ilara, Odo-Egiri, Odomola, Imokun, Araga, Ketu-Ejirin, Ibeju-Lekki, Lakowe, Akodo, and Eleko have all experienced the devastating impacts of this crisis.
