📍 Ilara Kingdom, Epe Lagos

In a bold and progressive move aimed at enhancing the beauty, structure, and identity of Ilara Kingdom, the youth leadership has officially announced the commencement of a major community development initiative — the construction of modern roundabouts at key junctions across the town, starting with the Chief Oluwalogbon Junction.

This initiative comes after thorough consultation and deliberation by community stakeholders, signaling a united front and shared vision for a more orderly and aesthetically appealing Ilara.

> "This is part of our broader vision to enhance the beauty, order, and image of our noble community," said Comrade Muideen Kazeem Sunday (SP), Ilara Youth Leader, in a message to all sons and daughters of Ilara, both at home and in the diaspora.

The project officially kicks off today, Thursday, 24th July 2025, marking the beginning of a transformational journey that is expected to redefine the physical outlook of Ilara and boost communal pride.

A Call for Unity and Support

The youth leadership is calling on all well-meaning individuals—indigenes, residents, and supporters alike—to actively participate in this historic project. Whether through financial contributions, material support, or voluntary services, every hand is needed on deck to ensure its success.

The roundabout project is more than just a structural upgrade; it is a symbol of collective vision, community spirit, and the desire for positive change. It reflects the readiness of the younger generation to take the lead in rebuilding and repositioning Ilara Kingdom for a better future.

Why This Project Matters

  • Improved Traffic Flow: Roundabouts will ease movement and reduce congestion at major junctions.
  • Aesthetic Appeal: Beautified entry points reflect a town's character and pride.
  • Community Identity: Landmarks like these serve as symbols of growth and development.
  • Youth Leadership in Action: This initiative demonstrates what young people can achieve through collaboration, unity, and purpose.

Together, We Can Achieve Greatness

As the saying goes, “A community that builds together, grows together.” The roundabout project is only the beginning. It is a testament to what is possible when the spirit of unity prevails. The youth of Ilara Kingdom are not just dreaming of a better tomorrow—they are building it today.

To support or learn more about this project, please reach out to the Ilara Youth Leadership or follow updates on our official communication channels.

Let us join hands to build a greater, more attractive, and more organized Ilara Kingdom.
