NNPCL Raises Petrol Pump Price to ₦905 per Litre Amid Supply Disruptions

  By OkemagbaNews The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has once again adjusted the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, across its retail outlets. OkemagbaNews gathered that NNPCL stations in Wuse Zone 4 and Zone 6, Abuja, have increased the price of petrol from ₦890 to ₦905 per litre — reflecting a ₦15 increment or approximately a 1.7 per cent rise. Speaking on the development, the President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi, attributed the upward review to supply disruptions linked to an ongoing dispute between the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the Dangote Refinery. Epe  By Teslim Azeez The Concerned NationBuilders Initiative (CNI) Nigeria has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of one of its executives, Olori Funmilayo Ayoola Kassin, who passed away on Tuesday in Epe after suffering an asthma attack at work. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred while the deceased was eating at her office. Colleagues rushed her to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Epe, in a desperate attempt to save her, but medical personnel confirmed that all efforts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful. Her passing has left her family, colleagues, church members, and neighbors in shock. She was buried later that day at her husband’s residence in Epe, where family, friends, and associates gathered to pay their last respects. In a tribute, Mrs. Olapeju Àkànjí, Treasurer of CNI Nigeria, described the deceased as “a fun-loving individual who knew how to handle situations,” adding that she was “one of the pillars that firmly held CNI Nigeria together...

Eyewitness accounts revealed that the incident occurred while the deceased was eating at her workplace. Colleagues immediately rushed her to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Epe, but medical personnel confirmed that all efforts to revive her were unsuccessful. Her death has been described as a rude shock to family members, colleagues, church associates, and residents of her community. She was laid to rest later that day at her husband’s residence in Epe.
