Celebrations and jubilation erupted across parts of Epe Constituency 2 following the emergence of Hon. Balogun Akeem Olawale as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Candidate-Elect for the Lagos State House of Assembly after the successful completion of the party primary election.

The energetic politician and community advocate hails from Agbowa-Ikosi, Owu- Ikosi, Ota-Ikosi, Odo - Ayandelu, Orugbo - Iddo in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA of Epe Local Government, his maternal lineage is Ajagunnobe in Epe, Odo -,Iragunshen and Ibonwon - Ogba in Eredo LCDA. He said the overwhelming support he received during the primary election has further strengthened his determination to serve the people with sincerity, dedication, and accountability.

Addressing supporters shortly after the exercise, Hon. Balogun stated that the journey ahead is not about personal ambition but about rescuing the hopes and aspirations of the people of Epe Constituency 2 through quality representation and impactful leadership.

“This victory belongs to the people. It is a mandate given by the masses, the youths, the market women, community leaders, and everyone who believes that Epe deserves better representation,” he declared passionately.
