The African Democratic Congress has intensified efforts to strengthen its grassroots structure in Epe Division of Lagos State, with the party holding a general meeting attended by members, leaders and stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, focused on issues bordering on party unity, membership participation, grassroots mobilisation, internal coordination and preparations for the forthcoming elections.

Speaking at the gathering, the ADC Chairman in Epe, Comrade Amuni Fuad Adebayo, charged members to put the interest of the party above individual considerations and remain committed to building a strong and united political structure across the division.

Adebayo emphasised the importance of discipline, unity and active participation, urging members to take ownership of the party's activities at the grassroots.

He said sustained commitment from members would be crucial to strengthening the party's presence and expanding its reach across communities in Epe Division.

The meeting also provided an avenue for members and stakeholders to deliberate on the party's internal affairs and exchange views on strategies for improving communication, coordination and participation among members.

Particular attention was given to strengthening the party's organisational structure across the division, with members encouraged to maintain effective communication and work collectively towards achieving the party's objectives.

The development is part of broader efforts by the ADC to consolidate its grassroots presence and foster greater cohesion among its members ahead of the 2027 electoral season.

The party has also continued to emphasise dialogue, reconciliation and unity as important components of its internal organisational activities.

At the end of the meeting, members reiterated the need for greater cooperation and commitment, while pledging to contribute to the continued growth and development of the ADC across Epe Division.
