EREDO LCDA TEAM VISIT SCHOOLS AT IBONWON

The team of Eredo LCDA Epe Lagos  led by the Leader of the House also the Councilor of the ward, visit the schools in Ibonwon community to distribute learning materials to the pupils of the schools 

At UPE Primary School, the pupils were giving advice on the importance of education to individual and community at large in other to attain good development. 

The pupils were promised that more dividend of democracy will reach them as far as the administration is still in office.
Reaching AUD Primary School Ibonwon the pupils welcomes the team with lovely and welcoming songs also appreciate the team for having them in mind.

The leader of the House also appreciate them and told them that the distribution of writing materials is as a result of the promise made during the campaign period. "We made promise and we ought to fulfil it" 

The Head teacher complain about shortage of teachers in the school and lack of  mower for cutting grass in which the Councilor promise to look into it.

Lagos State Government to Ban Danfo and Korope Buses on October 1.

By Sultan Oluwaseunayofunmi , The Lagos State Government has said there’s no going back on the planned enforcement banning operations of all unregulated commercial bus operations, such as  Danfos and Koropes, along the Lekki-Epe corridor, from October 1, 2024. The special adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on transportation, Sola Giwa, disclosed this in a chat with Vanguard on Saturday, July 14.  He said that the reminder on the planned ban, which is in line with the Lagos State Strategic Transportation Master Plan (STMP), was to dismiss rumours that the move had been suspended. Giwa stated that a stakeholders’ meeting was held with bus operators and union leaders on their need to comply before October 1 to successfully regulate and integrate the informal transport sector into the State’s Bus Reform Initiative using the corridor as a pilot test. The controversy centers around two toll gates situated on the same road—allegedly managed separately by the Lagos and Ogun State governments. The presence of both tolls, locals argue, amounts to double taxation and places an unnecessary financial burden on daily commuters. Currently, road users report paying between ₦1,000 and ₦2,000 per trip, depending on the size and type of vehicle.
