CNI Celebrates Historic Commissioning of Olatunji Bello Auditorium at LASU Epe: A Monumental Leap for Education and Development in Lagos State

The Concerned Nation Builders Initiative (CNI) has hailed the Lagos State Government, under the leadership of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for its steadfast commitment to educational development following the commissioning of the Olatunji Bello Auditorium at the Lagos State University (LASU), Epe Campus.
Commissioned on Wednesday, the landmark project was inaugurated by Governor Sanwo-Olu in the presence of top government officials, political leaders, academics, and respected traditional rulers.
Prominent dignitaries included Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat; Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Moruf Olatunji Alausa; former Ogun State Governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba; Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; and former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji.Also present were revered monarchs: the Oloja of Epe, Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun; the Alara of Ilara, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo; and the Ojomu of Lakowe, Oba Olufemi Adebowale, who collectively gave their royal blessings.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the auditorium as a hub for academic, social, and cultural engagements, reflecting his administration’s resolve to deliver world-class infrastructure across Lagos. Similarly, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, praised the project as a catalyst for socio-economic growth in Epe Division and Lagos East Senatorial District.In its goodwill message, CNI applauded the vision behind the project, appreciated the contributions of donors and stakeholders, and commended the Lagos State Government for prioritizing education.The Olatunji Bello Auditorium—named after a distinguished journalist, lawyer, and administrator—stands as a lasting legacy and a beacon of purposeful investment in education, further cementing LASU’s reputation as a leading institution in Nigeria.
